Just before I left the atelier we started a sci-fi concept project, set 50 years in the future. It involved the progression of commercial space travel and current political events. I managed to get a few thumbnails in before I left, but recently I found the time between projects to render out one of them. You can see the student work done for the actual project at the Safehouse Atelier site, as well as fellow atelier graduate, Zach Oldenkamp's concept art blog. Some great work was produced and I was sad to leave before it was all finished. I've got some more thumbnails I'd like to take farther, including a male version of this concept, so stay tuned!
